Once you have opened a Live Account or a Practice Account, your account number,
password and Pip Trader download link will be sent to you by email.
To download and install Pip Trader, there are just 6 simple steps to follow.
These are described below.
Pip Trader will become active only when real funds have been added to Live
Accounts or when practice funds have been added to Practice Accounts.
Start trading in six easy steps
Are you running Windows Vista?
If you are running Vista, follow the instructions below to install Pip Trader:
- Click on the Start menu, go to Control Panel, go to User Accounts, go to “turn user account control (uac) on or off”
- Uncheck “use User Account Control (uac) to protect your computer”.
- Restart your computer for this change to take effect.
Will this affect my computer’s security?
No, this simply allows you to successfully install Pip Trader without impairing your computer’s security.

Click on the link in the email you received when opening your account.

When you see this window, click on "Run".

Click "Run" again

When you see this window, click on "Next"

Click "Next" again

You have nearly finished. Just click on "Finish" to close the installation module, or click Start Pip Trader to load the platform.

You are now ready to launch Pip Trader.

Double click on the desktop icon to open Pip Forex

You will see this window:

Enter your Account Number and Password - the ones in your Open Account email. Remember your password is case sensitive.

Check the "Account Number" and "Password" boxes if you want your computer to remember these settings.
However, this means that if you choose to check these two boxes, other users of your computer will be able to open Pip Trader and trade on your computer.
To keep things safe, you might prefer to leave either or both of these two boxes unchecked. Just remember to keep your account number and password in a safe place!

Click on Login and you are ready to start trading Pip Forex.
